Danielle raised over $2,000!

Danielle Tirsun is a freshman at John F. Kennedy High School in Plainview, New York where she excels in her studies.  She enjoys dancing but, has a passion for arts and crafts - especially pottery and jewelry making.  Danielle raised over $2,000 for various charities by selling bracelets, necklaces and key chains.  She has had to overcome a lot in her short life since being diagnosed with a brain tumor in August 2006 and losing her vision in October of that same year.  Although Danielle often feels unwell, she does not let her illness get the best of her.  She is a joy to be around and an inspiration to all that meet her.  Danielle lives with her parents, younger brother Evan and Hailey, her dog.
